Some Interesting Facts About the New Testament

Fact - No contemporary reference currently exists outside of the Gospels which has not been shown to have been later forgeries the references Jesus Christ, or Jesus of Nazareth. (often cited passages of Josephus,Tacitus, Suetonius are vague and disputed and even supposing that they were part of the original text of these works(although early manuscripts say otherwise) none of the authors were actually alive during Jesus' alleged ministry.)
Fact - Nazareth did not even exist during the supposed time of christ, as did none of the other villages and towns mentioned in the gospels(excepting Jerusalem). Nazareth was a large graveyard in the first centuries B.C.E. and C.E. All of these places were later built to provide concrete outlets for a thriving industry of pilgramage from the 2nd and 3rd century to the present day.
Fact - The only supportable and externally referenced characters from the New Testament that can be shown to have existed are King Herod the Great the Jewish puppet king, who orders the massacre of first born male children after Jesus birth(wasn't there a Pharoah who did the same trying to kill Moses?). A heinous and thoroughly outrageous act that suspiciously goes unrecorded by the Jewish community who ardently passed on all other slights against their peoples for thousands of years. Pontius Pilate the roman prefect of Judea who supposedly for charges which were not illegal at the time, and by trial which broke all the conventions of historical roman-judeo rule executed Jesus. The Roman Emporers Augustus and Tiberius.

tune in tomorrow for an allegorical example to further illustrate the NT as historical fiction.

I will weave a tale of the messiah appearing in modern day America(oops the Mormon's beat me to it.)

Fundamental Concepts of Existence

Key facts

The universe as we have the ability to understand it consists of matter which exists in the endless background of space.

Matter is made up of stable combinations of smaller particles(molecules), These in turn are made up of stable combinations of even smaller particles(atoms), which are made of even smaller particles(atomic particles) etc.

Matter can rarely be created or destroyed; it mostly changes forms and combines with other matter, to form other combinations, stable or unstable, inert or reactive.

The concept of Time can be expressed in mathematical terms as a function. Let us assume that x represents the smallest possible unit of measurement of seconds,
x= (0.1 × 10)∞ seconds
Time =∑∞
X + X
Or Forward from x through all numbers in the real-number system seconds.

Time is a conceptual measurement of the outward motion of the universe. Therefore the absolute beginning of time or the point,
0.1x 10∞ seconds would be the point when all the matter in the known universe existed within the same space, prior to an event which occurred that provided the energy with which the matter was to be set forward (the big bang).

There are 118 known combinations of atomic particles (elements) that exist in our universe. Only 94 of these occur naturally in the environment, the remaining elements are a product of modern human atomic manipulation and are unstable and collapse after a period of time.

Probability dictates that the majority of all possible stable combinations have been formed at some point since the measurable beginning of existence, as we comprehend it.(Random Atomic Probability)

Combinations most suited to exist within the conditions of the environment in which they are formed will exist, and those which are stable in structure but not suitable to exist in its immediate conditions at any given point in time will collapse, or dissipate.(Atomic Structural Suitability)

The galaxy, stars and planets, the sun and in turn the earth were created by random combinations which for whatever reason were suitable to exist in the environment in which they formed.

10. Terrestrial elements and compounds were also formed by the laws of random mathematical probability, atomic structural suitability, time, and the nature of matter and existence (Physics).
Key facts cont…

11. Life as we define it is a stable compound of matter that forms to make up cells that have the capability of reproducing themselves. Life formed on the earth due to random atomic probability.

12. The ability of life to reproduce itself has allowed development in different organic combinations (species), which are best suited to exist and reproduce within the conditions that exist in the environment in which they exist (see law 6).

13. Human beings exist due to random atomic probability, atmospheric conditions on the earth, the development of all other species since the beginning of life, the innumerable set of circumstances which probability has allowed to take place which has formed the modern universe and in turn the galaxy, solar system, and the earth.

14. Humans are suited to survive on this planet because our bodies are made up of cells that can use resources, which are available in the current environment to reproduce. We possess the physical and mental attributes to make use of those resources to continue our existence.

15. Humans possess intelligence because our genetic predecessors were creatures with intelligence. They proliferated because they could avoid danger, find food, and survive in the environment long enough to reproduce.

16. Those species, which were not as aware of themselves and their environment, did not survive because the environment has a limited number of resources and cannot sustain high volume, short-term depletion of any particular resource (natural selection).

17. Humans’ relatively high intelligence has allowed us to record memories, access those memories, relate that information to other stored information, formulate new information and store that new information for later retrieval and further processing. This has allowed humans to relate this information to another human in a way which is mutually understandable by using memory storage to teach and learn from each other a common way of relating that information (communication)

18. Communication has allowed people over millennia to share stored information and formulated new information with each other. This has allowed people access to information which they may not have had access to or that did not possess the related stored information to have formulated for themselves.

19. Humans as a species have been present on earth for 1.6 million years; recorded human history is measured in thousands. Therefore it took over 90% of all of the generations of humans to develop civilization, education, communication, technology, law and punishment.

20. Society, complex conceptual thought, the human personality, universal code of conduct, non instinctual emotion, and human desires, are products of communication, our memory storage and cognitive capabilities, our ability to preserve information, and related it to further generations(education).
Key Connections

If reverse logic is applied to law 2 then the universe is infinitely expansive and retractile. Just as atoms are groups of particles, and molecules are groups of atoms, galaxies are larger groups of molecules, and the universe is a larger group of galaxies. Each one of these steps is another dimension of existence. Our understanding of size and distance is a concept related to what our brains interpret the size or distance to be relative to our understanding of our personal measure of a unit of measurement. The differential of the relative size of each dimension is exponentially large and each dimension is independently unaware of each other dimension. Human civilization has manipulated this universal truth through technology and communication, and has become aware of these other planes of existence, which are too large or too small for us to be able to see unaided.

Human beings exist due to facts 1 - 20. We are a product of every event that has taken place, in sequence, since the beginning of all existence. If conditions formed slightly differently at any stage throughout the course of history humans, life, the earth, the sun, the galaxy, matter and the universe may have never formed. However if the majority of all possible combinations have formed (see law 5) then perhaps we are here because it is in the nature of the universe that we are here, as we are the product of an astronomical lottery, and we are suited to survive in our current environment at this current point in time.

Before a human can comprehend the true nature of the universe one must accept the seemingly impossible concept that at some point there once was nothing and then there was something. In the organized mind there is a creation or creator of things. You must also have material with which to create things. God is an ancient solution to this problem, God created the universe because he can do the impossible. The question then posed is: Who created god? Who created the thing that created God? This creates more impossibility.

Understanding of the nature of the universe is only significant to the point that we can practically comprehend it. It isn’t to the benefit of society to know the details of the absolute beginning. If we cannot answer the impossible riddle of creation should not we focus on the physical properties of our immediate environment, as we will only continue to exist as long as we are suited to survive in our current environment? As far as modern science can prove the universe as we comprehend it began with the big bang (see law 4). It isn’t of any immediate concern of human civilization to have an understanding of the details of the exact nature of other dimensions (see connection 1). If a cataclysmic event occurs in any dimension we are not aware of then it will occur on a scale too small or too large for civilization to be able to have any sort of effect on the outcome. The event will either have a negative effect changing the conditions of our current environment, making us unsuitable to exist, or it will have no negligible effect on our current conditions.

"People" sometimes forget that they are in fact homo sapiens, and like other species on the earth have classifiable behaviours and physical properties. Humans are just the most dominant species on the planet. Our modern civilization has so guided our perceptions and feelings as to have one believe that we are special and an all-powerful being created us out of love and infinite wisdom. Society tells us it is so, because an ancient scroll which has, of course been translated and edited several times, clearly explains it all. If one does not believe it is because one lacks faith. One is outcast not because of your disbelief, but because of your lack of faith. The almighty being has chosen not to reveal itself yet entreats your blind commitment, for life, before granting whatever reward is due.

Society is actually a multiple input-source, complex set of instructions which you either choose to accept or refuse. What choice you make is also determined by the programming of whatever influences you had exposure to during early childhood. The nature of most people is to trust their impulses and feelings which are determined at a very young age. Before one can become enlightened one must at some point grasp the truth about the nature of existence and realize that the programming of your influences is a product of society and the capabilities of your mind allow you to reprogram your feelings because feelings are just reactions to hormone chemicals secreted by glands as an automatic reaction to stimuli. Just as narcotic drugs and poisons can have an effect on your perceptions and emotions, the natural chemicals which cause emotions cause reactions based on a very rudimentary and ancient program within the mechanics of the human brain.

In modern society our primitive instinctual programming is not always the most appropriate reaction to circumstances. Feelings are a misconception; they are an abnormal reaction to a self-released stimulant and should be analyzed for the root cause of the release of the stimulant. All feelings can be categorized as either instinctual (fear, lust, etc.), or self-actualized (pride, compassion, resentment). Self-actualized emotions are society driven whereas if a child was not ever taught to understand the complexities of why an emotion should be felt it would never experience the emotion naturally. Once one determines which event was the trigger to the emotion then one can begin to formulate a response, analyse the impact of the response, and then take action.
